New user to the forum here. I'm a wargamer as well as RPG gamer. I just bought several Okumarts Darkfast Dungeons fantasy cardstock mini files form DriveThruRPG and pretty excited about them.
The big advantage I see with cardstock is that if the artwork is attractive enough (as the Darkfast Dungeons line definitely is), that it will look as good/better than most metal miniatures (especially unpainted or poorly painted ones) while being infinitely more portable and less shelf-space dependent.

Thanks for those kind words. Yeah, I really got excited when I built all my wood elf minis and put them on the table. Suddenly, I had an awesome looking army of wood elves and I could make as many as I wanted. Storage is also an important part of the decision to make paper minis for my games.

Yes, very easy to transport, 3 ring binder with the card protection sleeves, small bag of bases Went to a convention and brought the binder, people really liked how easy it is to transport and that they look good
