Rules for Tile Activation on page 6 says Traps take effect on activation. But they also say about the game turn that players act first...and finally the environment/traps. Say your character steps onto a new tile with remaining action points. Are they allowed to finish all their actions before the trap activates? First rule says no, second says yes.
And how does this apply for events?

And how does this apply for events? Hmm... I have always played it on the activation of the player that triggered the trap. Then subsequent rolls/effects, etc. occur during the "opponent phase" after the players. That does seem like I'm saying two things there. I should clarify that sucker. I usually do the same for events. So when the event/trap is drawn, it acts on the player who revealed it activation. The next GT, if the trap/event is still happening, it happens after the players act.
