Wonderboy, where did you get those bases?

I ordered the bases from Litko. Jim (formerly OneMonk) did them for me as a custom order.

Now, Okumarts, it's time for old west. indian warriors on foot ( and some bonus like squaws, children ... ) for sioux/cheyennes and apaches. Indian warriors mounted. Cavalrymen dismounted Cavalrymen mounted. For the cavalry I think that your layouts' system is excellent. Not for color variations but for hats and weapons. Idem changing changing between a sword and a gun. Then something epic ( ok epic is more fiction than history, but many people love the old west's epic ) ... like gunfighters from OK Coral, iconic characters of the western movies ( Do you know the last expansion for the card game "Bang" ? ) Finally ... pioneers, settlers, bandidos, scouts ... ;D

Wow, some really interesting ideas there! I'm looking to release an OK Corral set next, then some first nations sets and banditos. I may also release a core "cowboy" set that would allow you to build your figure. We'll see how this all pans out. Soon...

I'm thinking the cavalry will come out about the same time as the Lakota Nation set. That would only make sense. Jeez, George Clooney is hard to please.

OK, so I bought this whole line - what rules system really plays well? Oh yeah, it has to be free rules.
I do own Gutshot, but it seems a bit long to explain to my gaming buddies who want to dive right in.
I also own Rules With No Name. Is there anything better?
One request - I need regular old townspeople and some more rifles!

I ran a western zombie crawl last night using the rules from Katana Schoolgirls. I added some weapons to the mix that are not in that game (six shooters and rifles). The characters high-tailed it out of town.

The "townsfolk" I used I found on Cardboard Warriors forums.

Bingo! Those figures from a OneMonk Hoard collection were perfect!
I have constructed a unique popsicle stick Old West Town for my dabbling in Gutshot that I will now use for a game of OkumArts Whiplash "The Rules With No Name" game - whew! That was a forever-more long name.
