Just zombies. Civilians are another possible set I'm considering.

The cover for the rulebook is done... as is the rulebook. Just sending it out for proofreading/last minute editing. Coming soon, I promise!!!

Awesome. Just snagged 'em both. I'd really, really love to see some schoolgirls with naginatas (preferably wielding them correctly) in some future expansion....

Great to hear Sue! I may very well expand the Schoolgirl collection. People have responded very well to this set. I'll have to make sure I do proper research on Naginata wielding. Are people OK with the more "Anime" flavoured releases in Serene Fist? I half considered making an Anime line, but I don't want to spread myself too thin or get too pigeonholed.

I teach the naginata at a dojo in Toronto. You're more than welcome to a whole pile of photographs of students in action.

Hi David, Just bought the Katana School Girls last night, and am really excited about playing - it looks like fun! I have got a question about Dead Ends, though. The rule about Dead Ends says (if you don't have a copy handy you can look at the page you convienently posted above, which has the rules in question on it ) If you encounter a Dead End, your character is stuck. Move back to your individual entrance tile Spawn Point and spend one GT moving to another random starting tile Spawn Point. You may then continue play from there. So, when you hit a dead end, instead of just backing up and trying another tile, you move your figure back to your starting point, then spend one GT to move to a random starting tile Spawn Point? I'm guessing you roll a die to determine which starting tile you move to? Thanks!

Hey Arkcaver. Yep, you got it. I will have to make that a bit clearer in future iterations of the ruleset. Randomly determine another spawning point your Katana School Girl appears on after spending a GT. The game itself came from a Space Station escape game I made quite a few years ago that I really enjoyed playing. Let me know how the game goes for you.

Sue, that's really cool. I may have to take you up on that. I'm only an hour away from Toronto. Small world.

You mentioned a "Space Station escape game" - that's what I'm looking for without having to totally remake the Katana School Girl game theme over again in a rules set. Do you still have that game available somewhere?

Davot, I am looking at releasing something along those lines for Retrospace in January/February. No help at the moment, I realize. I will post some KSGVZF compatible rules updates on a Space Station DK thread on here in the next couple of days and hopefully that can get you moving in the right direction. KSGVZF is really the most complete version of those space station escape rules that I have.

This is a working title, but it is growing on me. It will be an expansion/ v2.0 of Katana Schoolgirls. Attachments:
