I hope the game goes together quickly for you. I built three entire sets one night as a present for three kids. My fingers were tired in the morning.

I finally finished cutting and basing the game. Because I had extra bases I decided to make one set color coded for the teams and the other to leave natural. Sorry my old camera will not take better closer pics. - I dug out some crystal blue dice to play with and thought a d12 would make a great addition for X and Y placements of elf's or presents. The addition of a d4 is for when a placement calls for one of the tiles, then use a d6 for X and Y. Of course not necessary to play I had the dice and thought they would be fun to use. Now, to play. I saw the post for the "tuff kids" expansion sounds great. Attachments:

This post may be better placed in its own thread.
New snowball wars expansions Ideas.
A friend and mines seed of an idea for a "big kid" or "bully" expansion continued. multiple card stock minis to assemble into a fort. card stock for snowball ammo piles. the big kid or bully card stock. suggested wild cards- the bully comes (a card to bring the bully into the game) - mom calling him (the bully has to go home because his mommy called him for supper).
Possible scenarios - snow kids play as usual till the bully / big kid card is played. big kid can go after either team or both. - when bully / big kid card is drawn snow kids can team up to respell him or let him go after the other team. Hoping he will not go after them next.
- snow kids build a nice fort with hit points and the bully / big kid attempts to destroy it. Bully / big kid special attacks. - bully / big kid can make really big snowballs and lob them two handed over his head, doing great damage to a fort or wipe out multiple squares. - kicks, only against the snow fort and not snow kids.
This is a summary of a conversation I have had several times with a friend who says we will play snowball wars this weekend. I do not have the computer graphic ability to draw the card stocks. I thought if we posted the seed of the idea the snowball war community could add to it and maybe Mr. Okum could produce it for us.
The tuff kids expansion I read about sounds great.

About 75% complete for tonight's epic snowball confrontation with my nephews! ;D
Has anyone thought to upload this game to BoardGameGeek? It would most likely flood this place with more of us. I would, but have no non-work access to do so right now.

I've modded a new tile that I'd like opinions on: Parking Lot (with oil spots), recently plowed with an adjacent snow wall. - curbs for wheels that could cause damage to kids as they cross? - trash can terrain (could be knocked over? - less availability of snow for snow ball making? - wildcard "snow shovel for removing snow wall sections? What are your thoughts? Attachments:

One more idea for a scenario...Remember the Elf-amo. One fenced in area in the center of the board with the elves defending against two other players with no cover.
Any thoughts on how that might work?

The parking lot looks awesome! I like the idea of the snowbanks. Very creative use of a cotton ball! The less availability of snow is an neat twist.
The Elf-amo sounds like a lot of fun. The Elf multi-strike ability might be a real advantage if there isn't much cover for the kids. I've got to give that one a try.

Hey, I just picked this game up. I am ready to get going with it. This looked like a game the kids and I will really like. Unfortunately we are not playing tonight, but a quick trip to Hobby Lobby, and we should be good to go tomorrow. I'm already looking forward to the next booster.

You won't be disappointed at all. I played the game with little nephews and nieces aged 7-11 a few weeks ago, and that's all they ask for now.
