Sometimes the rules need to be clarified. Ask questions here.

I bought the whole game but I can't find the rules to be hidden in the rulebook Hello! The game is really big. There are two folders. The rulebook is in the first folder and it is called: DFD_BASIC_RULEBOOK_DEC_2014 If there are any questions, please let me know. I will be doing more actual play comics this summer to clarify some of the new rules modifications since the release of Save the Day. D.

Hi, On ranged attack you write:
"As a rule, figures may not use ranged attacks on adjacent targets if they are being actively attacked that GT, but if they do they give up using their Ability in their defensive rolls against all attack- ers for that GT. This attack is rolled with no range modifier."
As english is not my native language, could you please explain this rule? or even better, give an example ?
thanks

As english is not my native language, could you please explain this rule? or even better, give an example ? thanks Hello, Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been super busy marking school work. So, this rule addresses the fact that it's hard to point a bow or ranged weapon at a target right beside you because they can step out of the way and it takes concentration and movement to follow a moving or evading figure. This targeting makes it easier to hit the attacker later so they must stand can concentrate before they fire. This makes them easier to hit, therefore they lose their Ability in defense rolls (as they are just standing there). The attack on the target beside them does not get the usual +1 to hit because of Point blank range. I hope that helps clarify.
