Good day, I am having a problem printing the DFD basic rulebook. Using Adobe reader 11, I tried to print in booklet form (32 pages - 8 sheets). I have used booklet printing extensively in the past. The application got to flattening 71% of the first page and then failed. I then got an error message "The document could not be printed", followed by another "There were no pages selected to print" (see attached screenshots). At this point I extracted a fresh copy of the rule book from the zip file and tried again with the same result. I then re-installed Adobe reader (clean installation from a new internet download) - same result. I un-installed Reader 11 and installed version 10 - same result. Finally, I tried to print another PDF (one from Finger & Toe) with no problem. Obviously this is not the end of the world - if I can't have the rules in booklet form I can live with that but if it can be fixed I would be most obliged. P.S. It just occurred to me to try something else - I've just printed the Snowball Wars rules using exactly the same settings - worked Ok. looking forward to your further comments, cheers John K.

That is the first I've heard of something like this. Very odd. I will have to take a look tomorrow when I am back in town. Thanks for the heads up.

One good point is wondering what OS you might be using? "What app? What printer? Older versions of Acrobat on Macs won't access the drivers for most HP printers for some reason."

Hmm, I tried it myself and it worked just fine. I had a few other folks around the globe try it as well and it printed ok. Could it be the printer?

From the screen shots you are showing, it looks like you are using an older version of Windows. My guess is there may be something specific in the interactions with that specific PDF file, Windows, and Adobe. Have you tried another PDF viewer software?

While I'm here, I've had a small query regarding talent cards. At the beginning of the game when players take their appropriation of talent cards, do they take what is available after other players may have gone first, or should one provide enough of every type to allow complete freedom of choice? I have been assuming the first option but I'm open to correction.
cheers John K.
